I will stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Still, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually proceeding.
